The Memos and Lists area is designed for storing information that doesn't easily fit into the other areas of Time & Chaos. Memos would be a convenient place to list facts you don't want to forget, but it is not something to act on, like a task, nor something that happens on a particular date like an appointment.
Typically, the memos area is for lists of items or facts. For example, a list of products, a list of logon names and passwords, software license codes, wine cellar lists etc.
When you browse the list of memos, current versions can preview the content of the notes or tables on the right side of the screen.
Every memo needs a subject, which is how you will see it listed on the main screen. You can also organize memos into groups, which work just as they do in the other areas as well.
For content, Memos and Lists can have plain text notes, but they can also have data in a table format like a spreadsheet. Memos can even have File Shortcuts, where you can link the memo to documents and pictures you have stored on your computer or network.
Table data can be imported directly from an xls spreadsheet or entered manually by typing.
